I just discovered the Track New Book website. The site helps you track new book releases based on the criteria you set. You can track all new books by a specific author, by a seed book (that is, all books similar to one you’ve read and enjoyed), by keyword or by subject (400+ topics defined as of this date).

Once you do a search (by author, seed book, subject or keyword), you can enter your email address and request periodic email updates (based on “when available,” “weekly” or “monthly”). You’ll receive a confirming email with links to manage your tracking, share with a  friend and so on. One of the links at the top of the email is for Book Discovery.

According to the website, “Book Discovery helps you find books that are related to (the) web site you visit. It is powered by proprietary natural language processing and semantic analysis algorithm.” As Book Discovery suggests, “Meet your next book by surprise.” The following video shows how Book Discovery works.
